Museum of Fashion and Costume in Nohfelden
The “Museum für Mode und Tracht" (museum of fashion and costume) is the only museum in Saarland to collect, document and present the clothing and clothing habits of our ancestors. The permanent exhibition shows the developments of underwear, festive clothing for men and women and matching accessories from the years 1845 - 1920. The eventful history of today's Saarland is explained with the help of the miner's costumes. Every visitor gets a guided tour with lots of background knowledge and amusing stories. A new special exhibition is presented every year.
