St. Wendel Old Town

    Guided tours through the old town start every Saturday at 11 am at the main portal of the Basilica of St. Wendelin.

    The night watchman, who welcomes his guests with halberd and lantern at the Basilica every Friday at 9 pm (between May and September) and at 8 pm between October and April, also has some astonishing tales to tell.
